This is book #3 in the series - I jumped into it without having read books 1 & 2 (which I am going to do), but other than brief mentions of characters from the other stories, this can be read as a standalone. Dr. Logan Castle, aka "Hot Doc", is the head of the OB department at a hospital - McKenna is a midwife working out of the same hospital. They share an attraction that neither has acknowledged, but then they find themselves working on a committee to determine the best use of new funding to upgrade the OB department - and they have opposing opinions. McKenna is a strong heroine and Logan is a very cautious hero so it made for some interesting scenes throughout the book. The addition of the Guatemala trip to the storyline was very contemporary - it reminded me of how very unfortunate others are in the world. I found McKenna and Logan's romance to develop very realistically - the book was a nice, solid romance read that kept my interest.

I loved your story just wished she had the baby and it was twins but good ending I love romance and like part 2 I know on w crazy but that is me

Great story!
I give the series a 4.5 I read all 4 books wishing each one wouldn't end. Only reason it didn't get a 5 was that I felt that typing errors were not caught that good editing should have caught.
Good read,ending missed an opportunity to extend story.
