I love Debora’s Paradise series and I loved this book. She is a fantastic author and really knows how to pull you into the story and keep you interested. So much so that you really should have snacks next to you because you will not want to put the book down until it’s finished. I am looking forward to this becoming a series (fingers crossed).

Very disjointed. Not at all like her Paradise books which I really enjoyed. Good thing I read them first.
I have read and loved the Paradise series, so when I realized Brown had another book coming out I pre-ordered it immediately. I just can't get through it. I've read just over half and I just can't finish it. It is hard to believe it's the same author. The Paradise series was fun and witty with great characters I cared about. This one is just boring and awkward. I hope this is not a start of a series. I'd like to read more from Brown based on her other books, but not from this one.
Somewhat predictable but enjoyed.

Absolutely a great read. I have read all of the Paradise Florida Keys books and thoroughly enjoyed them but this latest book from Deborah Brown was very impressive.
As much as I enjoyed Ms. Brown's "Paradise" series, I was surprised that this book was such a disappointment. The plot is disjointed, the characters underdeveloped and the dialogue is choppy. It seems more like the juvenile attempts of a younger author rather than that of a seasoned writer.
